The mercury is rising, but fashion’s biggest names are bringing even more heat. July 2026 has unfolded as a month of electrifying collaborations, sun-drenched capsule collections, and immersive retail experiences that prove summer dressing is anything but lazy. From Balmain’s new creative chapter making its grand entrance at Bergdorf Goodman to Jacquemus reimagining a Timberland classic in the most intoxicating shade of blue, this is the month where high fashion meets high summer—and the results are nothing short of spectacular.
GU Enters Its Francesco Risso Era
The fashion world took notice when GU, the Japanese retailer celebrating its 20th anniversary, unveiled its first collection under the creative direction of Francesco Risso, the former Marni visionary. For fall/winter 2026, Risso has reimagined the brand through six distinct wardrobe worlds—Minimal, Classic, Playful, Sport, and beyond—each designed to reflect the kaleidoscopic ways people live and dress today.
Rather than prescribing a singular aesthetic, the collection encourages mixing and layering, rooted in the brand’s founding ethos of jiyū, the Japanese word for freedom.
For me, GU represents a powerful idea—the possibility of elevating the everyday while remaining accessible. It’s about balancing practicality and play. The design process for fall/winter 2026 started with a simple observation: contemporary life is no longer lived through a single identity, but through a multitude of moments, needs, and ways of being.
The collection is available online at gu-global.com/us/en and at GU stores worldwide, spanning pieces like bow-tie striped blouses, stand-up collar dresses, balloon pants, puffy touch knit crew neck cardigans, and sheer flower-printed T-shirts.
Emily P. Wheeler Brings Her Kaleidoscope Home
Los Angeles-based fine jewelry designer Emily P. Wheeler—whose ombré gemstone creations have become beloved by the likes of Rihanna, Taylor Swift, and Kate Hudson—is stepping beyond the jewelry box with her debut home collection. The inaugural offering includes hand-dyed tablecloths, runners, and napkin sets that channel the same vibrant palette and modern sensibility as her coveted jewels.
Designed for everything from casual dinners to celebratory gatherings, pieces like the Ombre Runner Dusk, Ombre Runner Pacific, and Ombre Cocktail Napkins mark the first chapter of Wheeler’s expansion into home. For collectors of her maximalist aesthetic, it’s a natural next step. The collection is available online at emilypwheeler.com and at Bergdorf Goodman.
Loeffler Randall’s Nantucket Moment
Consider this your excuse to book the ferry. Loeffler Randall is popping up in Nantucket for the very first time. From July 21 through July 28, the label has taken over The Boathouse on Easy Street—7 Easy Street, Nantucket, Massachusetts 02554—with a seaside-inspired pop-up stocked with a summer-ready lineup of signature sandals, ballet flats, woven totes, and breezy ready-to-wear. An accompanying Nantucket Edit is also available online at loefflerrandall.com.
The temporary shop debuts an exclusive red gingham version of the brand’s cult Dina travel tote, available only on the island. Standout pieces from the broader collection include the Helena Crochet Dress, Sol Blue Striped Crochet Beach Tote, the Nola Top, Rita White Netted Mary Jane, and the Franco Espresso/Butter Boat Shoe.
Summers wearing rope bracelets, fishing for minnows, and eating salt water taffy are such formative memories for me. So I am beyond excited to be back in this beloved area to host our first ever pop-up on Nantucket.
For founder Jessie Randall, whose childhood summers were spent nearby on Cape Cod, the Nantucket residency is a deeply personal, full-circle moment.
Balmain’s New Chapter Arrives at Bergdorf Goodman
Balmain is bringing its next chapter to Fifth Avenue. To mark the arrival of Antonin Tron’s debut fall/winter 2026 collection, the French house partnered with Bergdorf Goodman on a month-long exclusive retail launch, complete with a takeover of the department store’s legendary windows at 754 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10019.
Conceived by artist Jeanne Briand, the window installation translates the spirit of Tron’s first collection into an immersive streetside experience. Inside Bergdorf Goodman, and online at bergdorfgoodman.com, is Tron’s new vision for the house: supple leather outerwear—including a standout Leather Fitted Peplum Jacket—taut wrap dresses in jewel tones like the Strong-Shouldered Draped Jersey Long-Sleeve Dress, and sleek accessories such as the 64-83 Small Leather Shoulder Bag.
Bergdorf Goodman and Balmain share a commitment to championing craftsmanship, innovation, and artistry, which is celebrated in this window takeover that offers our customers a unique opportunity to experience Balmain’s renewed vision through an immersive retail experience and an extraordinary collection.

Jacquemus and Timberland Reunite for a Sun-Soaked Boat Shoe
Jacquemus is giving one of Timberland’s most recognizable silhouettes a decidedly French summer makeover. After the success of their first collaboration, the two brands have reunited to rework Timberland’s classic 3-Eye Lug Boat Shoe in a saturated Lagoon Blue—a shade first seen in Simon Porte Jacquemus’s spring/summer 2027 collection, “Le Bonheur.”
Crafted from premium leather and finished with tonal hardware, custom Jacquemus charms, and Timberland’s signature lug sole, the limited-edition unisex style balances the utility of the original with the designer’s sun-soaked color sensibility. The shoe is available online at timberland.com, jacquemus.com, and at select Jacquemus and Timberland stores.
Manolo Blahnik’s Love Letter to East Hampton
As if the fashion set needed yet another reason to head out East this summer, Manolo Blahnik is debuting an East Hampton-exclusive capsule inspired by the rituals of a quintessential season on the South Fork. Created to celebrate the brand’s five-year presence on Main Street—at 52 Main St, East Hampton, New York 11937—where its intimate boutique has become a favorite of stylish Hamptoners, the collection reimagines four signature silhouettes: Callamu, Jada, Susa, and Carolyne.
Channeling favorite East Hampton pastimes—late-night ice cream runs and strolls down Main Street—the shoes feature hand-drawn pink rosebud vines sketched by Blahnik himself and soft blush nappa leather accents. It is, in every sense, a wearable postcard from the Hamptons.
JW Anderson Opens a Parisian Pop-Up on Rue du Louvre
JW Anderson has opened the doors to a new Paris pop-up at 15 Rue du Louvre, 75001 Paris, France, bringing its signature blend of fashion and craft to one of the city’s most storied streets. Running from July 9 to September 24, the London-born brand’s latest retail concept was developed by Sanchez Benton Architects, who filled the space with Scottish oak stools, ceramics by Akiko Hirai, and handpicked books that sit alongside the label’s signature offerings.
From its cult-favorite Loafer bag—including the Loafer Embroidered Suede Shoulder Bag—to bold ready-to-wear like the Tie-detailed Crinkled-silk Maxi Dress, the store showcases both menswear and womenswear alongside pieces from the brand’s home and garden line.
I like and would like to have around me.

Agua Bendita Scores with a Colombia-Inspired World Cup Capsule
Agua Bendita is firmly team Colombia. Coinciding with the country’s run at the 2026 World Cup, the Colombian brand dropped a limited-edition capsule collection brimming with national pride. Founders Catalina Álvarez and Mariana Hinestroza included three jersey styles in the sold-out and since-reissued release: a blue long-sleeve, a woven blue-and-yellow polo, and two standard football jerseys in blue and yellow.
The designs feature “Colombia” in bold lettering, alongside nods to the Agua Bendita aesthetic like winding floral motifs, themed patches, and an “AB” monogram on the back. No matter how Colombia’s World Cup run unfolds, Agua Bendita’s jerseys are designed to be worn long after the final whistle. The collection is available online at aguabendita.com.co.
